Basic / Advanced Obedience Skills
This is what most people think of when they think of hiring a dog trainer. Obedience training focuses on the human and animal relationship, and refining how dogs make decisions through the canine learning process.
Common parts of obedience training include improving a dog's responsiveness, recall abilities, canine focus, and the ability to respond to verbal cues and prompts.
Improving obedience skills through positive reinforcement changes the way your dog interacts with humans and the world around it, leading to more predictable behavior and a stronger bond between humans and dogs

Leash / Walk Skills
A large part of a dog's exercise and mental stimulation comes from exploring the world through walks. Walks are an important and exciting thing for dogs, and sometimes there are opportunities for improving skills when on leash
Common goals from leash / walk training include eliminating leash pulling, reducing reactivity to other dogs or animals, and improving the consistency of pace during a walk
Our leash / walk skills also translate to private dog walking services, giving owners the peace of mind that their dog will get regular exercise with someone the dog knows and trusts. From quick walks to long hikes, we try to meet your needs however we can

Puppy Skills
Puppy skills classes are geared towards younger dogs between 12 weeks to 1 year old. Puppy skills sessions will bring leash and obedience training together into a larger comprehensive plan, teaching young dogs skills for life long success
Puppy training can create positive behavioral habits that carry on throughout a dog's adult life. Consistency is key, and our Puppy Skills sessions are built upon the core idea that owners will be able to easily continue the skills learned in these sessions
Puppy training is both fun and rewarding, and you will receive instruction and advice to keep your young dog on the best possible path for success and happiness as they grow and reach adulthood

Reactivity Training
Reactivity is described as a negative emotional reaction dogs have to sources of stimulus, usually based or rooted in an emotional fear response to stress. Reactivity issues can pop up in dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes.
Reactivity is a normal behavior dogs have, and this can be conditioned out of dogs through modifying the thinking and decision making process dogs have. In technical terms, this is modifying the canine cognition process
We use fear free methods to ensure dogs have the internal tools to make different decisions when they experience stress. We will create a custom made plan for your dog, and reactivity training begins with extensive observation of your dog to ensure our training plan will be successful and minimize stress for your furry family member
